What's new?
Payroll - Run your payroll in Angola from CYTO
Following the Employees module, you can now record compensation and timesheets, generate payroll runs with INSS and IRT computed automatically under Lei 14/25, have them approved by a second person, and send payslip PDFs to your employees. Everything lives in the new People section.
Local payments - Pay and get paid with Multicaixa Express and e-Kwanza
Through our Pay4All integration, your CYTO subscription can now be paid with Multicaixa Express, e-Kwanza or a bank reference, no card required. Your own clients can settle their invoices through the same channels, and the payment lands directly on the invoice.
Invoice payments - Partial payments, receipts and quotes
Issued invoices now carry a payment ledger: record manual, bank or Pay4All payments, see billed, received and outstanding amounts at a glance, and issue the official receipt (RG) once the invoice is fully settled. Fatura-Recibo documents accept several payment methods, orçamentos and pró-formas convert into an invoice in one click, and cancelled invoices and credit notes produce compliant PDFs.
Notifications - Never miss what happens in your workspace
A notification bell now lives in the app header. Supplier submissions, invoices received by email, finished imports, HR compliance alerts and invoice reminders reach you in real time, and you choose which notifications you receive in your settings.
Invoice extraction - A smarter reading of supplier invoices
Supplier invoices are now read by a new document AI engine that captures line items, the supplier NIF, withholding tax and purchase order references. Every extraction goes through quality checks, and only the fields that fail are read again, so fewer invoices need manual correction. Reviews and approvals are now recorded in an audit trail.
Free tools - Bank statement to Excel, reconciliation and tax report
No account needed: convert a bank statement PDF to Excel, match your invoices against your statement automatically, get a financial health check, and explore corporate tax rates across Africa in local currency or USD. Everything you process can then be imported into your CYTO workspace.
Other improvements and fixes
- Accounting partners: find a certified accountant in our new directory and request an introduction.
- Angola compliance: SIGT annulment support, SAF-T tax codes in the invoice summary, II/IRT withholding, Luanda time on fiscal documents and carried-over subtotals on multi-page invoices.
- Large amounts: invoices, payments and reports now handle amounts above 100 million Kwanzas.
- Documents: a richer document drawer and smoother onboarding uploads.
- Website: a faster landing page with product screenshots and better search visibility.
- UI Enhancements: Various usability and interface improvements throughout the platform.
